Viral Marketing through Blogging
from: Deb St. George - DebStGeorge.comThe ultimate way to engage readers thorough marketing efforts is through the blogging platform. Successful blogging involves reporting or writing on current material, whether that’s news or industry developments, in such a fashion that the information that is written on is more like updates and opinion posts rather than dry news articles. Blogging allows the reader to learn more about the site’s author and owner and also helps the reader to decide if they want to remain a part of the site’s experience. The form of engagement is when the company doesn't have to do anything explicit to make it happen. The most exciting part about viral marketing through blogging is when the company or the site doesn’t have to do too much to get the reader interested and a part of the site.
Having a blog and revealing it to your reader’s audience is a minimal effort at best. Blog marketing is straightforward and does not require a lot of technical know how. The best way to market your blog is to create well-written valuable content that visitors will want to read and pass on to their friends. Of course, to keep up with regularly writing to your blog the topic should be something that you have a personal interest in, for most individuals if you are blogging about your business you are feeling a connection and have an enjoyment. For others however, they might choose to outsource their writing while they focus on other aspects of running their business.
In any instance where viral marketing is the leading cause for traffic, the website’s owner relies heavily on their campaign to spread the word about their product or service. Marketing has a rich discipline on ways that you can create those effects in the minds of customers called positioning. Positioning simply means being positioned in the best possible light for your product or service to show through.
In order to truly maximize your positioning efforts simply think clearly and distinctly about the key use cases for your service or product and analyze who your product should be targeted towards, how can they use it, how your product is more user friendly than the competitions and where is your target audience online and how can you find them!
In blogging and viral marketing, you want to create an idea that will instantly link traffic to your brand through the efforts of blogging. Doing this causes ideas to make your brand stand out and be noticed. Creating a viral marketing buzz through branding is an instantaneous idea and one that gets noticed almost immediately. Blogging also allows you to connect with other users and those interested in any product or service that you offer on your site.
Conclusively, in any efforts that you make via your blog marketing, viral marketing can be especially fantastic if it is marketed properly and effectively. Many now popular and up and coming blogs would not be so high profile today if it were not for the efforts of viral marketing. Getting your business’ name, objective, mission and contact information before the eyes of thousands if not millions of users is the ultimate goal in viral marketing and its campaign efforts.
